GL Accountant – Shared Service Centre

About the role

Join Danfoss’s Shared Service Centre as a GL Accountant, based in Povazska Bystrica, Slovakia. You will collaborate with colleagues across the Danfoss group, coordinating with stakeholders, auditors and suppliers to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Process the accounting agenda independently.
• Manage assets and investments in line with regulations.
• Record accounting entries in the General Ledger.
• Execute month‑end and year‑end closing operations according to company guidelines and legislation.
• Provide support to internal and external customers as required.

Required profile

• Secondary education in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
• Relevant experience in a similar accounting role.
• Positive, open‑minded attitude with strong attention to detail.
• Good command of English and MS Office tools.
• Ability to thrive in a changing environment and work well in a team.
• Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
