German-Speaking Senior Valuation Consultant (m/f)

About the role

PwC Slovakia's Treasury and Financial Risk Management team is looking for a German-speaking Senior Valuation Consultant to join its team of rising professionals. The role involves evaluating financial data and assessing profitability for clients, working with international clients and taking part in impairment testing, purchase price allocation and valuation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate financial data and assess profitability for clients, acting as a trusted advisor
• Support large multinational clients in impairment testing and purchase price allocation engagements
• Take part in local valuation projects of financial instruments (bonds, derivatives, options, shares), impairment tests (fixed assets, intangible assets, goodwill) and share-based payment assessments
• Perform valuation tasks across industries and scenarios, including businesses, intangible and tangible assets and modeling projects
• Collaborate with and coach junior consultants
• Deliver first-class service to global clients and take part in market risk projects

Required profile

• At least 3-4 years of professional experience in audit, business valuation or another role with a financial background
• Fluency in English (at least B2) and German (at least B2-C1)
• Strong interpersonal, communication and project management skills, good analytical skills and attention to detail
• Eagerness to learn, creative thinking and proactive use of AI-powered tools (ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Power BI)

Required skills

• Preparation or review of discounted cash flow models and valuation of financial instruments
• Nice to have: IAS 36, IFRS 9 or IFRS 13, data modeling, financial risk management
