Financial Controller

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Financial Controller to join our Financial Reporting & Analytics team as we expand into the European market. You will support financial operations, ensure accurate reporting, and contribute to effective financial planning and control.

Key responsibilities

• Process and analyze bank statements and banking transactions
• Upload and maintain banking data in internal systems
• Monitor and control cash‑flow movements
• Prepare departmental budgets and forecasts
• Perform budget control and variance analysis (plan vs. actual)
• Prepare regular financial reports and analytical summaries
• Support financial planning and reporting activities
• Work with large volumes of financial data while ensuring accuracy and consistency
• During probation: process primary financial documentation and enter data into the 1C system
• Monitor internal document approval workflows
• Communicate with and support stakeholders involved in approval processes
• Coordinate with the Accounting team regarding invoices and payments

Required profile

• Higher education in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related field
• 1–3 years of experience in finance, controlling, accounting, banking or financial analysis
• Proficiency in Russian and/or Ukrainian; intermediate English; Slovak knowledge is a plus
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail and responsibility
• Strong organizational and communication abilities

Required skills

• 1C software (experience is a plus)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong computer literacy
