Operations Finance Analyst

About the role

The Financial Analyst – Operations Finance Europe will partner with Group HQ finance and the Supply Chain Distribution team to support cost of goods sold analysis, warehousing, distribution reporting and budgeting activities. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Operations Finance Europe, the role is hands‑on and requires strong analytical thinking in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, including 3PL accruals, excess/obsolete stock provisions and COGS variance analysis.
• Support product costing, distribution transportation spend analysis, inventory management and internal controls.
• Coordinate with AP, Finance Analysts and Managers on operations finance queries and perform reconciliations.
• Assist in quarterly forecasts, annual budgeting and cost‑to‑serve initiatives.
• Represent Operations Finance on strategic projects and ensure governance controls are in place.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 + years of experience in FMCG or related sector, preferably with supply‑chain exposure.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently under pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all organizational levels.

• SAP (expert knowledge desirable)
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, V‑lookups, complex formulas)
• Microsoft PowerPoint, Visio and Power BI
• Data analysis and large‑data set handling
