Financial Controller / Commercial Real Estate Manager

About the role

STRABAG Real Estate is seeking a Financial Controller and Commercial Real Estate Manager to lead financial and commercial activities for residential projects. The role combines cost accounting, project controlling, and feasibility analysis to support the full project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Manage cost accounting and financial reporting for STRABAG Real Estate.
• Provide project controlling and reporting, including support for special purpose vehicles (SPVs).
• Oversee financial project management for residential real‑estate developments, handling contractual and commercial arrangements.
• Prepare and review feasibility calculations for acquisition and realization phases.
• Coordinate with internal shared service providers, accounting teams, and legal advisors.
• Handle creditor and debtor management activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a real‑estate controller or financial real‑estate developer.
• Experience in large corporate or international environments is a plus.
• Fluent written and spoken German or English and Slovak.
• Strong understanding of real‑estate project structuring, legal and group accounting topics.
• Independent, precise, structured work style with a high sense of responsibility.

Required skills

• AS400 (optional but beneficial).
• Microsoft Office suite, especially Teams, OneNote, and Planner.
