Finance Manager – Investment Platform

About the role

As a Finance Manager at Crowdberry you will work closely with the CFO to oversee all accounting records, ensure smooth financial operations, and provide analytical support for strategic decisions. This position offers a unique chance to shape finance processes as the company expands its investment platform across Slovakia and the Czech Republic.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse financial statements, including quarterly and annual closings.
• Manage day‑to‑day cash flow, bank payments, receivables and payables, and maintain accurate financial records.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles, perform variance analysis and report results.
• Coordinate with external accounting and tax advisors and ensure timely regulatory reporting to the NBS and banking partners.
• Oversee external audits, providing all required documentation.
• Collaborate with investment, legal and operations teams on complex investment and exit transactions.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation initiatives.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of relevant finance or accounting experience.
• Experience in a Big 4 or similar consultancy is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards and regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and organizational abilities.
• Effective communication in Slovak and English (minimum B2 level).

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with financial software/tools (e.g., ERP systems).
• Familiarity with AI tools for finance automation.
