Engineering Project Manager Internship

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is looking for an Engineering Project Manager Intern to join its Solution Engineering team, working with the HPE Factory Express portfolio. The internship is part-time, about 20+ hours per week, and hybrid, with an expectation of working on average 2 days per week from an HPE office. It starts on 1 February or 1 July 2027.

The HPE Global Manufacturing and Fulfillment organization supports manufacturing partners in building servers, storage, networking and fully integrated rack solutions. The Solutions Engineering team customizes these solutions across assembly, testing, rack integration, rack validation and performance-optimized data center build, test and shipment. The intern collaborates with internal stakeholders to turn customer requirements into clear instructions for regional manufacturing partners.

Key responsibilities

• Support Customer Intent Document (CID) validation processes
• Manage the release of customer orders to manufacturing partners
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate service delivery
• Gain hands-on experience in solution customization and manufacturing processes

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree, expected graduation in 2028, in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or a related field
• Strong communication skills in English and Slovak
• Result-oriented, proactive, able to work independently with a high level of responsibility
• Strong interest in IT, especially server, storage, networking and interconnect hardware engineering
• Available for a 12-month part-time internship (about 20+ hours per week)
