Senior Compute & AI Presales Architect

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring a Senior Compute & AI Presales Architect in Bratislava. The role is hybrid, with an average of 2 days per week spent in an HPE office. It focuses on technical selling to customers and partners, architecting solutions that meet customer business and technical needs across hardware, software, services and as-a-service offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Design complex proposals and proofs of concept, turning customer business needs into functional solution designs
• Present solutions to customers and partners, including demos and presentations, and provide technical expertise to sales teams
• Manage customer and company stakeholder expectations and mitigate risk
• Drive account business planning, identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and nurture deals from opportunity to close
• Take part in sales forecast meetings and document work throughout the sales cycle
• Build advisory relationships with executives and thought leaders, and transfer knowledge to partners
• Contribute to the industry through conferences, demos, social media and business events

Required profile

• Advanced degree in technology or a related field preferred, or equivalent technical qualifications
• 12+ years of technical experience in IT, focused on technical consulting and solution selling
• 2+ industry-standard technology certifications or equivalent experience
• Enterprise architecture frameworks and project management methodologies are helpful but not required

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of HPE's portfolio and the as-a-service (aaS) business model
• Creating and running demos and proofs of concept
• Financial acumen: TCO/ROI, financial models and KPIs
• Consultative and value selling, executive communication in English and local languages
