DevOps Engineer – Telecom Network Validation Platform

About the role

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to modernize, scale, and maintain the CI/CD, deployment, and testing infrastructure for AT&T’s network validation platforms (ANT & Open Tool). You will bridge development and platform testbeds through automation and cloud orchestration.

Key responsibilities

• Design, automate, and manage scalable CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Provision and configure environments with IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Deploy, configure, and manage containerized micro‑services on Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift across hybrid cloud environments.
• Maintain Linux systems, ensure high availability, auto‑scaling, and health monitoring of validation pipelines.
• Set up observability with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk and collaborate with telecom QA teams.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD and source‑control tools (Jenkins, Git/GitLab, Azure DevOps, Maven/Gradle, Artifactory/Nexus).
• Strong knowledge of containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift).
• Proficiency in infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and expert‑level Linux administration (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS) plus Bash/Shell scripting.
• Programming/scripting skills in Python, YAML, JSON.
• Familiarity with telecom testing environments (4G LTE/5G, Open RAN) is a plus.
