Infrastructure Engineer – Telecom Network Validation Platform

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to support AT&T's ANT and Open Tool platform environments used for telecom network testing, validation, performance monitoring, and analytics. You will manage both physical and virtual infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and security.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain server, storage, and networking hardware across bare‑metal, virtualized, and cloud setups.
• Build, configure, and maintain LTE, 5G NSA/SA, VoWiFi, VoLTE, and IMS testbeds, including devices, probes, switches, and firewalls.
• Administer enterprise Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
• Manage VMware vSphere/ESXi and Hyper‑V virtualization clusters.
• Configure and troubleshoot TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching, site‑to‑site VPNs, and firewall policies.
• Provision, optimize, and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Manage SAN/NAS storage arrays, monitor performance, and enforce disaster‑recovery and backup policies.
• Implement monitoring and alerting frameworks (Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, Nagios, ELK) and conduct root‑cause analysis for incidents.

Required profile

• Advanced Linux administration (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) and Windows Server experience.
• Hands‑on expertise with VMware ESXi/vSphere and Hyper‑V.
• Strong networking foundation: TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and enterprise storage (SAN/NAS).
• Proficiency in monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Nagios, or ELK.
