C++ Software Engineer

About the role

Identy.io is seeking a C++ Software Engineer to develop and optimise the core algorithms and SDKs that power its biometric authentication products, including AFIS, touch‑less fingerprint, face liveness and document verification. The role focuses on high‑performance, memory‑efficient C++ code that runs on Android, iOS and server environments, and works closely with machine‑learning and mobile teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and optimise C++ libraries for biometric capture, matching and liveness detection.
• Profile and tune performance and memory usage for resource‑constrained mobile devices.
• Integrate core C++ components with platform‑specific bindings (JNI for Android, Objective‑C++/Swift for iOS).
• Collaborate with the ML team to embed inference models via ONNX Runtime, TensorFlow Lite or custom engines.
• Maintain and enhance multi‑platform build systems using CMake.
• Write unit and integration tests and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in code reviews, uphold engineering standards and debug field issues.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional C++ development (C++14/17/20).
• Strong knowledge of memory management, concurrency and performance optimisation.
• Experience with cross‑platform build tools, especially CMake.
• Familiarity with mobile integration (JNI, Android NDK, Objective‑C++/Swift bridging).
• Good written and spoken English.
