Associate Operations Manager, Supply Acquisition & Activation

About the role

The Associate Operations Manager for Supply Activation & Acquisition will ensure courier supply stays ahead of demand across Wolt’s Central European markets. You will lead a small team, manage a multi‑million‑euro budget and own the key supply KPIs that are reported to senior leadership. The role combines data‑driven decision making with hands‑on activation and acquisition activities.

Key responsibilities

• Own and execute the intraday activation strategy, including weather‑driven surges, radius adjustments and special‑event coverage.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of three operations specialists.
• Manage a multi‑million‑euro activation and acquisition budget across Central markets.
• Drive courier acquisition through job boards, application pipelines, reactivation campaigns and sign‑ups.
• Track and report weekly on undersupplied hours (UH%) and GOV loss KPIs, escalating risks to senior leadership.
• Design and implement mobilizer strategies and special‑event plans ahead of demand spikes.
• Collaborate with Support, Product and Global Delivery Ops to build scalable tools and processes.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for top management on supply health.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex, data‑driven operations across multiple markets, preferably in courier or gig‑economy environments.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into fast, defensible decisions.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, including mentoring small teams.
• Experience handling large budgets and reporting financial/operational KPIs to senior stakeholders.
• Ability to anticipate demand spikes (holidays, weather, local events) and plan proactive activation measures.
