Application Support Specialist

About the role

The Application Support Specialist provides Level 2 support and hands‑on administration for Komodo Health KPP and MIC platforms. Working within the P&T team, you will ensure platform stability, integration health, and GxP compliance while collaborating with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Level 2 support for Komodo Health KPP and MIC platforms, meeting agreed service‑level targets.
• Monitor platform health and integrations, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
• Handle service requests such as report creation, user setup, permission updates, and data load validation.
• Triage and escalate incidents involving internal or third‑party applications to appropriate support teams or vendors.
• Troubleshoot defects and integration problems, perform testing, and update APIs as needed.
• Collaborate with business, IT, and technology partners to align platform capabilities with business needs.
• Drive improvements through DevOps automation and application enhancements.
• Maintain GxP validation documentation, record system changes, and preserve configuration baselines for audit readiness.

Required profile

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of system administration or application support experience, preferably in healthcare, pharmaceuticals or life sciences.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with remote stakeholders at various seniority levels.
• Good written and spoken English (approximately B2 level).
