Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the role

Ohpen is a fintech company building modern banking technology used by banks and financial institutions. We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist in Slovakia to help us find the best people who will keep building the products of the future and growing Ohpen.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end recruitment projects across different functions, roles and locations – the Netherlands, Slovakia, Spain and the UK.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand the real business needs behind every vacancy.
• Source and engage talent, including passive candidates, and build strong talent pipelines.
• Recruit technical talent, including engineers across different levels of seniority.
• Challenge and advise hiring managers when requirements or processes can be improved.
• Use data to understand and improve recruitment outcomes.
• Contribute to employer branding and initiatives that attract great talent.
• Experiment with new recruitment approaches and share what works.
• Help continuously improve how Talent Acquisition operates at Ohpen.
• Explore AI tools to make recruitment faster, smarter, and more efficient.

Required profile

• Experience in technical end‑to‑end recruitment.
• Proactive ownership and ability to work without being told what to do.
• Strong prioritisation skills and a big‑picture focus.
• Resilience when hiring gets difficult.
• Comfortable challenging and influencing stakeholders.
• Ability to make progress without having all the answers.
• Fluent in English, the working language.
