Storage Platform SRE Engineer

About the role

Join Erste Digital in Bratislava to design, implement and continuously improve enterprise storage solutions that support millions of customers. You will own the reliability, availability, performance and scalability of storage services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and enhance enterprise storage platforms (DELL Block, Cisco/Brocade SAN, NetApp NAS, Cloud Object Storage).
• Provide Level 3 support, troubleshoot complex incidents, and drive root‑cause remediation.
• Implement monitoring, alerting and observability to track health, capacity and performance.
• Automate provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible or scripting.
• Collaborate with database, virtualization, cloud and application teams to deliver reliable storage solutions.

Required profile

• 3+ years of recent experience managing enterprise storage environments.
• Strong understanding of SAN, NAS, block and object storage concepts.
• Hands‑on troubleshooting of complex storage and SAN issues.
• Experience integrating storage with VMware vSphere, OpenShift and KVM.
• Proactive mindset with ownership of platform reliability.

Required skills
