Spare Parts Buyer & Planner – EMEA

About the role

We are seeking an EMEA Spare Parts Buyer and Planner to join our Service Logistics team. You will ensure the right quantity and mix of spare parts are available across the service network, supporting high service levels and efficient inventory turnover.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain optimal spare‑part availability and inventory mix throughout the EMEA service logistics network.
• Support Management Units with inventory‑related topics and drive continuous improvement of inventory processes.
• Monitor inventory KPIs and parameters across the entire network.
• Evaluate and control excess and obsolete inventory, participating in governance activities.
• Collaborate with Service Delivery Managers, manufacturers, suppliers, logistics teams, the central EMEA Spare Parts Planning Team, Order Coordinators, Technical Support, and external service providers.
• Analyse inventory performance and recommend actions to improve availability, efficiency and stock optimisation.
• Contribute to service excellence by ensuring timely spare‑part availability for customers.

Required profile

• Experience in inventory planning, supply‑chain, logistics or materials management.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret inventory data and KPIs.
• Understanding of inventory optimisation principles and supply‑chain processes.
• Experience in a multinational environment is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams across regions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other business systems.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
