Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join the myUNIQA team. You will own the QA strategy and drive test automation for our customer‑facing web and mobile applications, leveraging AI‑assisted testing where appropriate.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the end‑to‑end QA strategy for myUNIQA applications.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner and agile team to refine requirements and create testable user stories covering functional, non‑functional, security, and compliance aspects.
• Design, maintain, and scale the automated test suite using Cypress and TypeScript/JavaScript, integrating it into the delivery pipeline.
• Expand test coverage to API and service‑layer testing alongside UI tests.
• Mentor team members on test design, automation patterns, and quality culture.
• Monitor production quality, triage defects, and prioritize resolution.
• Utilize AI tooling to enhance the testing lifecycle.

Required profile

• Senior‑level QA professional with strong experience in test automation.
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted testing approaches is a plus.
• Comfortable working in an agile environment and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
