Senior Funding Consultant – EU Projects

About the role

Civitta is seeking a Senior Funding Consultant to lead and coordinate EU‑funded projects, primarily within the Digital Europe Programme and related initiatives. You will act as the main liaison for a multi‑partner consortium, ensuring smooth project execution and compliance with European Commission requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate implementation of a European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) project, managing timelines, milestones and deliverables.
• Serve as the primary contact for international partners, organizing meetings, tracking actions and resolving issues.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, risks and contractual obligations in line with Grant Agreements.
• Prepare and submit periodic technical and financial reports to the European Commission.
• Support project governance, including steering committee preparation and internal reporting.
• Conduct research and stakeholder consultations to identify future funding opportunities.
• Contribute to proposal development for upcoming European funding calls.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience managing or implementing EU‑funded projects (Digital Europe Programme, LIFE, CEF, Horizon Europe, Innovation Fund, EDF).
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics, business administration, political science, international relations, engineering, management or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience with European Commission Grant Agreements and Annotated Grant Agreements.
• Proven ability to prepare technical and financial reports for the European Commission.
