Senior Freight Forwarding Operator

About the role

As a Senior Freight Forwarding Operator in the Shared Service Center, you will be the central point for EU freight forwarding operations, handling shipments, status updates, and internal customer queries. You will support the logistics team by providing accurate information quickly and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Onboard and implement new clients in the Bratislava Shared Service Center.
• Manage stakeholder relationships with local branches and external clients.
• Plan and book transportation for ocean freight, including capacity planning, carrier selection, routing, scheduling and tendering.
• Prepare and review shipping and customs documentation.
• Monitor shipments and customs clearance, resolving exceptions and complications.
• Track logistics KPIs and cost performance.
• Support freight cost payment, invoicing and purchase invoice verification.
• Maintain relationships with logistics providers and government agencies, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Identify service inconsistencies, take corrective actions and support capacity acquisition.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, transportation or supply‑chain environments.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Client‑oriented mindset and ability to work well in a team.
• Familiarity with standard operating procedures and dispute/claims handling.
