Senior Engineer II, Electrical Systems Technical Execution Lead

About the role

Schneider Electric is looking for a Senior Engineer II, Electrical Systems Technical Execution Lead, based in Slovakia. As the leader of the technical content of a customer project, you act as the single point of contact for all technical topics, make sure customer requirements are met in performance, quality, cost and time, and lead the technical team across design, implementation, testing and FAT.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and approve basic and detailed design of the technical solution, and monitor technical costs so the budget stays under control
• Coordinate technical implementation at factories, supplier premises and testing facilities until project closure
• Work with the project manager and other technical designers, and coordinate subcontracted parts with the procurement team
• Review designs and specifications using Schneider Electric's product portfolio, and carry out some testing and FAT activities
• Identify changes to the contract or agreed design, estimate their cost impact and alert the project manager to substantial issues
• Lead technical discussions with the customer and ensure compliance with Schneider Electric processes, quality instructions and safety requirements
• Share lessons learned, coach junior engineers and stay up to date with technical developments in your field

Required profile

• Master's degree in Engineering
• Fluent English (minimum B2/C1); other languages are a plus
• 5 years leading the technical scope of projects
• 5 years in one or more engineering domains: Power, Automation & Software, Telecom & IT, Cyber Security, Mechanical & HVAC, Structural
• A specific market segment or customer application experience is a plus

The expected compensation for this full-time position in Slovakia is EUR 48,800 - EUR 73,200 per year, including base salary and short-term incentives. Candidates apply online with a CV in English.
