Senior Electrical Distribution Design Leader

About the role

Schneider Electric is seeking a Senior Electrical Distribution Design Leader to head the technical content of customer projects, ensuring performance, quality, cost and timing meet contractual obligations. The role involves leading a multi‑disciplinary technical team across sites and countries.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and approve basic and detailed design of integrated electrical solutions, aligning with customer and contract requirements.
• Coordinate technical implementation activities at factories, supplier premises and testing facilities until project closure.
• Manage technical risks, interfaces and changes, working closely with the Project Manager to secure variation orders.
• Act as the single point of contact for all technical topics, leading discussions and clarifications with the customer.
• Support compliance with Schneider‑Electric processes, quality, safety and governance standards.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years leading technical scopes of projects in Oil & Gas, Utilities, Data‑centers or similar segments.
• At least 5 years of experience designing MV/LV switchgears, UPS, power transformers and electrical interfaces.
• Proven ability to lead remote, functional technical teams and communicate concisely on technical issues.
• Fluent English (B2/C1); additional languages are a plus.
