Security Technician Administrator (Network Firewall, Routing & Switching)

About the role

Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Slovakia is looking for a Security Technician Administrator in Košice. The role covers administrative and operational tasks in security processes, including measurements and tests for security and data protection, and technical support for security management systems. It is an L2-level position.

Key responsibilities

• Perform complex administrative and operational tasks in security processes
• Carry out measurements and tests for security and data protection, and take part in defining and running tests and reviews
• Plan and procure technical equipment such as measuring devices and testing tools
• Run selected reference systems and security management tools, manage applications and provide technical support
• Evaluate security measures commercially and act as a contact point for Group units during implementation
• Support employees on security topics and analyse security-related data
• Take part in projects

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technologies
• At least 2 years of experience in ICT technical infrastructure operations
• Relevant vendor-specific certifications
• Intermediate MS Office and good overview of hardware and software
• Familiarity with ITIL V4 Foundation at an intermediate level
• Upper-intermediate (B2) English; German is an advantage
• Clear criminal record

Required skills

• Networking fundamentals and CCNA or higher knowledge, including routing and switching, IPsec and SSL VPNs, proxy services, and firewalls and next-generation firewalls
• Effective communication, teamwork and analytical thinking
