Property Development Manager

About the role

As a Property Development Manager you will lead the end‑to‑end delivery of store refits and new store projects. You will be responsible for budgeting, scheduling, permitting and cross‑functional coordination to ensure each project meets financial targets and operational requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of store refits and new store openings, from concept to hand‑over.
• Prepare and control project budgets, business cases and CAPEX investment appraisals.
• Coordinate permitting processes and liaise with local authorities.
• Work closely with corporate purchasing, design, maintenance and program managers to track milestones and resolve issues.
• Conduct feasibility studies, cost estimations and risk assessments for acquisition phases.
• Organise kick‑off meetings, on‑site technical sessions and lead problem‑solving activities.
• Monitor spend, approve orders, finalize accounts and perform post‑investment reviews.

Required profile

• Proven experience in property or retail development, construction or project management.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to create and manage budgets and business cases.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management, especially with authorities and internal teams.
• Ability to anticipate risks and propose cost‑effective solutions.
