Project Manager Manufacturing Technology – Systems

About the role

You will lead the definition and rollout of global manufacturing system standards, creating a stable, ISA95‑compliant digital backbone for production across Danfoss sites. The role sits at the intersection of manufacturing, IT and automation, driving data‑driven, transparent production environments that support the company’s LEAP2030 strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement global MES/MOM standards and production line interfaces to ensure scalable, ISA95‑compliant setups.
• Lead global system projects, troubleshoot issues and stabilise production systems to minimise downtime and improve data quality.
• Develop operator guidance, traceability and database solutions that enhance production visibility and decision‑making.
• Collaborate with production sites, IT, automation teams and suppliers to roll out digital manufacturing solutions worldwide.
• Support and train Production Engineers and Maintenance teams on system operation, servers and databases.

Required profile

• Proven experience in manufacturing systems, production technology or industrial digitalisation.
• Hands‑on knowledge of MES/MOM, production IT systems and databases.
• Background in assembly, hydraulic testing or automation‑driven production environments.
• Ability to work across global, cross‑functional teams and manage technical stakeholders in English.
