Production Planner (m/f/d)

About the role

As a Production Planner you will ensure that manufacturing runs smoothly, efficiently and on time, delivering the right products to customers when they need them. You will act as the link between production, supply‑chain and customer‑facing teams, turning demand into clear, actionable plans. This is a temporary, project‑based position for approximately 18 months.

Key responsibilities

• Release production orders for assembly to meet promised delivery dates.
• Track order progress and proactively communicate any delays to Order Management.
• Partner with Customer Service to reconfirm and align customer orders.
• Collaborate with buyers to guarantee timely material availability.
• Maintain accurate master data and support the creation of new materials in ERP systems.

Required profile

• Experience in production planning or supply‑chain operations.
• Comfortable working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) – advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel for planning and analysis.
• Fluent English communication for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Interest in technical production processes and end‑to‑end supply‑chain flows.
