Product Financial Manager (Maternity Leave Replacement)

About the role

Adient is seeking a Product Financial Manager to cover a maternity leave. The role focuses on product cost development, financial analysis of bill of materials, and supporting purchasing negotiations within the automotive seating industry.

Key responsibilities

• Develop product cost models covering material usage, equipment, labor, cycle times, tooling and capital requirements for new or changed business.
• Review complex bills of materials and manufacturing assumptions for reasonableness.
• Communicate cost data across the organization and support purchasing negotiations.
• Develop and refine benchmark cost models, set targets for purchased items, and contribute to departmental process improvements.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably in the automotive industry or wiring harness manufacturing.
• Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
