Market Access Manager – Slovakia

About the role

AstraZeneca is seeking a Market Access Manager for Slovakia to lead value‑based and innovative access strategies for its life‑changing medicines. The role ensures that patients receive timely access to transformative therapies by coordinating all market access activities within the country.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate market access activities, including stakeholder mapping, activity planning, implementation, and record keeping.
• Maintain regular contacts with decision makers such as governmental officials, payers, medical societies, and patient organisations.
• Support country director, medical, marketing, and sales functions in market access initiatives.
• Provide data for business planning and ensure timely submission of price and reimbursement dossiers.
• Develop and localise value stories for promoted products.
• Represent AstraZeneca interests in national industry associations and scientific societies related to health economics, HTA, and outcomes research.
• Conduct horizon scanning of legislation, therapeutic areas, and best‑practice sharing.
• Educate internal teams on health economics, outcome research, and reimbursement legislation when requested.

Required profile

• Proven experience coordinating market access activities in a pharmaceutical or healthcare environment.
• Strong knowledge of Slovak health‑care system, pricing, and reimbursement processes.
• Ability to engage with government officials, payers, medical societies, and patient groups.
• Experience preparing and submitting price/reimbursement dossiers.
• Familiarity with health‑economics concepts, outcome research, and legislative horizon scanning.
