Logistics Supervisor (Shop Floor)

About the role

The Logistics Supervisor leads daily logistics operations on the shop floor, ensuring safe, timely, and efficient material flow. Reporting to the Logistics Superintendent, you will coordinate resources, drive performance, and support continuous improvement in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily logistics activities to guarantee safe and on‑time material movement.
• Drive performance against KPIs such as Safety, Delivery, Quality, and Cost.
• Coordinate team shifts, resources, and workflows to meet production targets.
• Monitor, analyse, and optimise logistics processes, systems, and workflows.
• Identify and resolve operational issues, escalating when necessary.
• Support continuous‑improvement and cost‑saving initiatives.
• Maintain high standards in 5S, safety, and operational excellence.
• Coach, develop, and motivate logistics team members.
• Collaborate with Production and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or technical education in Logistics, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in logistics, material handling, or manufacturing operations.
• Proven experience leading a team in a supervisory role.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, shift‑based manufacturing environment.
• Commitment to continuous improvement, teamwork, and operational excellence.

Required skills

• SAP (ERP/WMS system experience is a plus).
