Key Account Manager – Rare Disease – Western Slovakia

About the role

AstraZeneca is seeking a motivated Key Account Manager to lead strategic partnerships with institutional customers in the Rare Diseases space across Western Slovakia. You will promote cutting‑edge therapies, raise disease awareness and support early diagnosis while putting patients first.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage a portfolio of key customers across Western Slovakia.
• Engage customers through approved channels, sharing insights to inform strategic decisions.
• Analyze regional sales potential, plan and adapt sales initiatives, and execute promotional activities.
• Collaborate with franchise teams, product managers and other business units to maximise outreach.
• Report on KPIs, monitor competitive activities and coordinate special sales offers.
• Define and update key customer targets, map their needs and adapt approaches based on feedback.

Required profile

• University degree in Medical Sciences, Pharmacy, Medical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology or related field.
• 1–2 years post‑graduate experience in a relevant field.
• Strong motivation to build long‑term relationships with healthcare stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel up to 2.5 hours within the territory.
• Patient‑first mindset and ability to work in a cross‑functional, collaborative environment.
