Junior Consultant, Financial Accounting Advisory Services

About the role

EY is hiring a Junior Consultant in Financial Accounting Advisory Services in Bratislava, Slovakia, starting 1 October 2026. You will work on projects for local and international clients covering IFRS implementation, financial statement consolidation, financial process improvement, automation and data analytics. The role suits a motivated graduate or someone with 1-2 years of experience in audit, accounting or finance who wants to develop in an advisory environment.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in advisory projects focused on implementing International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Collaborate on projects consolidating financial statements for international and local corporate groups
• Support initiatives that improve and streamline financial processes for clients
• Contribute to designing, optimising and enhancing processes
• Prepare and process data for projects focused on data analysis

Required profile

• University degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering or a related technical field
• Understanding of accounting principles
• Previous experience in audit, accounting or financial advisory is an advantage
• Fluent English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage

Required skills

• Strong logical and analytical thinking, and ability to research independently and solve problems
• Advanced Microsoft Office, especially Excel
