Internal Auditor

About the role

Kanadevia Inova, a global player in waste infrastructure and waste-to-X technology, is hiring an Internal Auditor in Petržalka. The role covers audit assignments, control testing and follow-up on remediation, within a fast-paced, complex matrix organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Execute audit assignments according to the annual audit plan.
• Review the adequacy and effectiveness of controls in key business processes (procurement, contract management, project execution, operations and maintenance, finance).
• Identify process gaps, risks and control weaknesses and recommend practical improvements.
• Prepare clear, concise audit reports and discuss findings with management.
• Follow up on the implementation of agreed remediation actions.
• Support fraud risk assessments and investigate allegations of misconduct.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in audit, risk or finance.
• Experience in an industry delivering large and complex projects is a strong advantage.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Proven ability to manage projects, work independently and cross-functionally.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of audit methodologies, risk assessment and data analytics.
• Advanced MS Excel skills and confidence handling large datasets.
• Preferred: internal audit tools such as ACL and CIA certification.

• Indefinite employment contract with a basic wage of 2,300 EUR gross per month (minimum offered).
