Head of Quality – EABU

About the role

The Head of Quality for the EABU region will lead the development, maintenance and extension of product certificates, licences and compliance standards across multiple markets. This senior position works closely with manufacturing plants, certification bodies and customers to ensure product safety, legal compliance and continuous quality improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and archive databases of certificates, licences and national/international product standards.
• Monitor and deploy changes in standards, conflict‑minerals reporting and banned‑substance legislation.
• Lead quality‑related projects, including new product introductions, corrective actions and risk‑based decision making.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams to address significant customer or supplier complaints and market quality issues.
• Promote the use of quality‑improvement tools (statistics, Poka‑yoke, problem‑solving techniques) in manufacturing sites.
• Provide training, up‑skill local teams and define clear KPIs and performance metrics.
• Prepare management reports, KPI dashboards and review customer contracts for compliance.
• Support international travel and collaboration with regional certification bodies.

Required profile

• Proven senior experience in quality management within an industrial or production environment.
• Strong knowledge of product certification, regulatory compliance and conflict‑minerals reporting.
• Excellent analytical, risk‑evaluation and decision‑making abilities.
• Ability to lead cross‑departmental projects and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Willingness to travel internationally and work in a multicultural setting.
