Equipment & Packages Engineering Manager

About the role

Kanadevia Inova is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the Equipment & Packages work package, covering Balance of Plant, Water‑Steam Cycle, and Flue Gas Treatment components. You will be responsible for engineering documentation, purchasing coordination, and delivering the sub‑project on time, within budget and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Handle the Equipment & Packages Engineering work package, including Balance of Plant and Water‑Steam Cycle parts.
• Prepare engineering documentation for internal teams and external partners such as clients, consortium partners and subcontractors.
• Own the on‑time, on‑quality, and on‑budget delivery of purchasing lots and engineering deliverables.
• Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team (Mechanical, Process, Arrangement Engineers) across Zurich and other locations.
• Negotiate with suppliers, monitor progress, plan resources and ensure clear communication.
• Achieve sub‑project objectives regarding schedule, quality and financial performance.

Required profile

• Completed Mechanical Engineering degree (FH/ETH).
• 5+ years of project management experience in industrial plant construction.
• Strong mechanical and process knowledge.
• Excellent MS Office skills.
• Effective team collaboration and communication abilities.
• Fluency in English; German or other languages are a plus.
