Design Engineer – New Product Development

About the role

As a Design Engineer in New Product Development you will create and optimise hydraulic pumps and motors that power machines worldwide. You will work from concept through to production, ensuring the solutions are reliable, efficient and meet customer needs.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain 3D CAD models and detailed technical drawings for new hydraulic products.
• Develop and optimise pump and motor designs to enhance efficiency, durability and performance.
• Collaborate with simulation experts to validate concepts using FEM and CFD analyses.
• Work with testing teams to qualify products under real operating conditions.
• Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing and sales to bring products to market.

Required profile

• Solid foundation in mechanical engineering and 3D CAD design.
• Understanding of hydraulics or fluid‑based systems.
• Ability to communicate in English within global, cross‑functional teams.
• Problem‑solving mindset and willingness to learn.
