Client Compliance Officer – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Client Compliance Officer to join our Property & Casualty and Life & Health reinsurance compliance team across EMEA, with a focus on the United Kingdom. This 12‑month fixed‑term position offers a hands‑on opportunity to shape and enhance our compliance framework in a dynamic international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve the compliance framework to meet external and internal requirements.
• Provide advisory support on financial sanctions, financial crime, and data protection risks.
• Monitor regulatory developments in EMEA and the UK, including Fitness & Propriety, Conduct Rules, and senior management regime.
• Manage regulatory relationships, consultations, filings, and supervisory interactions.
• Deliver compliance reporting to the Group Board and local committees.
• Perform compliance risk assessments and deliver training.
• Collaborate with global compliance teams on EMEA and global strategy initiatives.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of compliance experience, preferably in financial sanctions and reinsurance, with UK market exposure.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
