Accounts Receivable Accountant

About the role

IQVIA is looking for an Accounts Receivable Accountant in Bratislava. The role provides technical and general accounting services in line with IQVIA Finance SOPs, US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley rules and the business unit's financial reporting needs (for example local GAAP).

Key responsibilities

• Month-end close and blackline work
• Compliance control
• Maintain orders and contracts (price, user and data period changes)
• Billing and revenue recognition
• Process accruals and templates such as revenue, product and client transfers
• Upload information to Blackline and prepare documents for month-end close for local finance teams
• Attend internal training and organise monthly calls with the local office
• Keep country-specific documentation up to date and prepare samples for SOX audits
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required profile

• Commercial studies or commercial apprenticeship
• 1 year of experience in finance, administration or customer support
• Fluent English (spoken and written) is mandatory
• Fluent German, French, Italian or Spanish is an asset
• Good team player, service and client oriented, adaptable, punctual and accountable

Required skills

• Knowledge of SAP, PeopleSoft Finance and Oracle is a plus
• Ability to prioritise multiple tasks, make sound judgments and build good working relationships
