Technical Team Leader

About the role

TechBiz Global is recruiting on behalf of a client for a Technical Team Leader based in Bratislava. You will lead a high‑performing engineering squad, foster a collaborative culture, and drive continuous improvement across product initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Guide and inspire a multidisciplinary engineering team, promoting a positive and collaborative environment.
• Tackle complex technical challenges and ensure successful delivery of scalable solutions.
• Provide hands‑on technical guidance, mentorship, and code reviews to squad members.
• Coordinate closely with product, design, SEO, content and delivery teams to maintain alignment.
• Champion learning and professional growth through training, pair programming and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and implementing scalable systems handling large data volumes or high traffic.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a track record of delivering high‑quality projects.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers across multiple seniority levels.
• Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of best engineering practices, including testing, documentation and code reviews.
