Technical Support Specialist – Slovak & Czech

About the role

Roche’s Regional Customer Support Center is looking for a Technical Support Specialist who speaks Slovak and/or Czech to provide expert assistance for its in‑vitro diagnostic (IVD) portfolio. Working from an office in Warsaw, Prague or Bratislava, you will help laboratory personnel troubleshoot complex instruments and ensure accurate test results.

Key responsibilities

• Provide remote and on‑site technical support for high‑end IVD systems, including robotics‑enabled platforms.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and biochemical issues using digital twins and remote diagnostic tools.
• Collaborate with product development and field service teams to prevent recurring problems.
• Document incidents and contribute to knowledge‑base articles.
• Participate in training sessions and share best practices with customers.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, IT, Biochemistry, Laboratory Diagnostics or a related field.
• Native or C1/C2 proficiency in Czech and/or Slovak; strong English communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with a “detective” approach to troubleshooting.
• Willingness to work on‑site two days per week and travel as needed.

Required skills

• Experience with in‑vitro diagnostic instrumentation.
• Familiarity with robotics, complex biochemistry workflows and IT systems used in laboratories.
• Use of remote diagnostic and digital twin technologies.
