Technical Support Engineer (Remote – Bratislava)

About the role

Servers.com, part of Nexcess, is looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join its international team. Based in Bratislava with remote flexibility, you will help customers troubleshoot and maintain cloud‑based infrastructure while expanding your expertise in server administration.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose hardware, software and network issues on Linux servers.
• Perform system administration tasks for cloud environments.
• Monitor server health and hardware performance.
• Provide technical assistance via email, following clear communication standards.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to resolve complex incidents.

Required profile

• Proficient English for written correspondence.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
• Solid understanding of Internet fundamentals and networking concepts.

Required skills

• Experience with Linux operating systems (Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian).
• Comfortable working in the Linux terminal.
