Director of Data and Analytics

About the role

As Director of Data and Analytics you will lead the design, architecture and delivery of enterprise analytics solutions that enable data‑driven decision‑making across Clarios. You will work closely with business leaders, enterprise architecture and technology teams to translate strategic priorities into scalable, secure analytics platforms and trusted data products.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end architecture, design and delivery of data models, semantic layers, dashboards, self‑service and advanced analytics solutions.
• Define and govern analytics architecture standards, patterns and best practices to ensure consistency, performance and security.
• Collaborate with data engineering, cybersecurity, infrastructure and application teams to integrate analytics solutions with enterprise data platforms.
• Drive adoption of modern analytics capabilities such as cloud data platforms, BI tools, automation, AI/ML and predictive analytics.
• Ensure data governance, quality, privacy and compliance are embedded in all analytics products.
• Manage and develop a high‑performing team of solution architects, analytics engineers, BI developers and analysts.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in analytics, BI, data architecture or engineering, with 5+ years in leadership roles.
• Fluent English and proven ability to work with senior stakeholders in a global, matrixed organization.
• Willingness to travel up to 10 % and to work 25 % US time (13:30‑22:00 CET).
