Technical Architect – Data Solutions

About the role

Join PwC’s Advanced Technology Solutions team in Bratislava as a Technical Architect. You will design scalable, secure, production‑ready data solutions for the Managed Data Services portfolio, bridging high‑level architecture with hands‑on implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop architecture artifacts such as C4 models, high‑level and low‑level designs, class, sequence and data‑flow diagrams.
• Conduct proofs of concept, explore new technologies and validate design decisions through hands‑on execution.
• Define and maintain reference architectures, reusable patterns and best practices for scalable, secure solutions.
• Ensure cross‑team alignment by collaborating with Solution Architects, PMs, Tech Leads, DevOps, SRE and Operations.
• Identify technical risks, support governance, maintain documentation and ensure compliance with security and policy requirements.

Required profile

• 7+ years of development experience and prior roles as System or Technical Architect.
• Strong software architecture background with ability to translate concepts into detailed designs.
• Hands‑on expertise in C4 modeling and diagram‑as‑code tools (Structurizr, PlantUML, Mermaid).
• Proficient in C# (DI, Clean Architecture, DDD) and Python.
• Experience with cloud‑native data platforms, especially Azure Databricks and Microsoft Fabric.
