Solution Architect

About the role

As a Solution Architect at Avenga you will shape and deliver innovative technical solutions that align business needs with technology capabilities. You will act as the bridge between clients, project teams and technical experts, ensuring that designs are both strategic and practical.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse client requirements and design tailored technical solutions.
• Present solution concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Guarantee solution design quality during the presales phase and contribute to budget estimations.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer at project start and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with the proposed architecture.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, business owners and IT teams throughout delivery.
• Create and maintain comprehensive solution architecture documentation.
• Optionally develop the solution and provide technical leadership to the delivery team.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience as a Solution Architect.
• Strong knowledge of UML, Enterprise Architect, Archimate and TOGAF.
• Deep understanding of microservices, cloud technologies, integration patterns and containerisation.
• Proficiency with SQL, data structures and relational databases.
• Previous technical role (e.g., development) is an asset.
• Experience in telecom, banking or automotive sectors is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and business audiences.
• Demonstrated team‑leadership and conference‑facilitation abilities.
• Professional fluency in Slovak or Czech and English.
