Software Engineer - AI Integration & Data Platforms

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain AI‑enabled software solutions that connect enterprise applications, data platforms, and AI agents. The role focuses on building scalable APIs, Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, Python services, and cloud‑native components while ensuring security and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement AI‑enabled workflows, MCP servers, and agent‑facing tools.
• Develop robust APIs and backend services in Python with emphasis on authentication, observability, and clean interface design.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, supporting automated builds, tests, code quality checks, and deployments.
• Engineer cloud‑native services on Azure, using containerized workloads, secure configuration, logging and monitoring.
• Collaborate with product owners, data engineers, security teams and business stakeholders to translate requirements into durable solutions.
• Document APIs, MCP tools, deployment patterns, runbooks and engineering standards.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on experience developing Python applications, services or automation.
• Strong understanding of modern software engineering practices across multiple programming stacks.
• Ability to work independently, lead moderate‑sized technical efforts and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
