Senior Software Engineer – POS (Remote Europe)

About the role

Cloudbeds is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join its Point‑of‑Sale (POS) team. You will own the end‑to‑end development of a cloud‑based POS solution that powers hospitality properties across the globe.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy and operate the POS mobile app (React Native & Expo) and its Python/FastAPI backend.
• Implement offline‑first capabilities using SQLite, write‑ahead logging and conflict‑resolution logic.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code with Terraform, AWS, Kubernetes, Argo CD and Helm.
• Create reliable APIs, data models and caching strategies using PostgreSQL, Valkey and REST.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure scalability, reliability and a seamless user experience for hotel staff.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience building full‑stack, customer‑facing applications.
• Strong ownership mindset with ability to deliver end‑to‑end product features.
• Comfort working across multiple layers of the stack, from mobile UI to cloud infrastructure.
