Senior Client Data Management Project Manager

About the role

Swiss Re is looking for a Senior Client Data Management Project Manager to lead the global client data agenda within its Life & Health Reinsurance division. You will translate strategic direction into executable plans, coordinate cross‑functional teams, and ensure delivery of trusted, timely client data that supports data‑driven decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, milestones, delivery plans and measurable outcomes aligned with strategic priorities.
• Provide overall delivery oversight across interdependent workstreams and regions, managing dependencies, risks and issues.
• Establish structured prioritisation and capacity planning, securing required resources.
• Mobilise business and technology delivery across the Life & Health value chain, driving alignment and timely decisions.
• Partner with sponsors and senior stakeholders to maintain governance, produce decision‑ready reporting and enable rapid issue resolution.
• Drive transformation of client data processes, governance, accountabilities and ways of working.
• Work with functional and regional leaders on capacity, capability, funding requests and project financials.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience leading projects and change initiatives, preferably in (re)insurance.
• Proven end‑to‑end project management experience covering planning, governance, risk, dependency, resource and financial management.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across functions, regions and seniority levels.
• Experience delivering data and business transformation, including operating model design and implementation.
• Ability to translate strategic direction into execution, shaping approaches when the path is not fully defined.
• Nice‑to‑have experience in Life & Health (re)insurance and familiarity with client‑data initiatives.
• Project and change management certifications such as PMP, PROSCI or Scrum are a plus.
