Senior Software Engineer – POS (Remote, Europe)

About the role

Cloudbeds is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join its Point‑of‑Sale (POS) team. You will work on a fully remote basis across Europe, shaping the next generation of hospitality POS experiences that power thousands of properties worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate the React Native/Expo mobile application and Python/FastAPI backend services.
• Build and maintain Terraform‑defined AWS infrastructure and Kubernetes deployment pipelines using Argo CD and Helm.
• Implement offline‑first capabilities with SQLite, write‑ahead logging, synchronization, and conflict‑handling.
• Create reliable APIs, data models, caching, and recovery paths using PostgreSQL and Valkey.
• Ensure end‑to‑end product reliability, scalability, and performance for real‑time hospitality operations.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering customer‑facing software in a full‑stack environment.
• Strong ownership mindset with ability to manage code, services, infrastructure, and production reliability.
• Comfortable working across multiple layers of the stack and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
