About the role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps & Infrastructure Engineer to own and evolve the cloud platform that powers a real‑time energy grid. The role is based in Bratislava with a hybrid work model, allowing remote work and occasional office days.

Key responsibilities

Administer and secure GNU/Linux virtual machines in production.
Build, maintain and deploy Docker containers to ECS/Fargate and other orchestration platforms.
Design, develop and manage Terraform/Terragrunt modules and Ansible playbooks for AWS infrastructure.
Create and optimise CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to ensure fast, safe and repeatable deployments.
Implement monitoring, alerting and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, OpenSearch and CloudWatch.
Collaborate with backend engineers and data scientists to support their deployment and infrastructure requirements.

Required profile

Strong experience operating GNU/Linux based systems.
Proficiency with scripting in Python or Bash.
Hands‑on experience with Docker containerisation.
Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and pipelines.
Fluent in Slovak and English.
Eligible to work in the European Union.
