Senior Consultant – Financial Services Transformation (German-speaking)

About the role

Join PwC Advisory in Bratislava as a Senior Consultant focused on financial services transformation for German‑speaking clients. You will work directly with banks, insurers and fintech firms across the DACH region, turning strategic objectives into concrete, implementable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with client teams to analyse operating models, processes and regulatory constraints.
• Structure ambiguous problems into clear analyses, decision options and management recommendations.
• Design target‑state processes, operating models and transformation roadmaps, and guide clients through implementation.
• Act as the primary interface between business and IT, ensuring strategic goals are translated into practical solutions.
• Prepare and lead workshops, steering meetings and management presentations, primarily in German.
• Own specific workstreams or deliverables while coaching junior colleagues and ensuring overall project quality.

Required profile

• Fluent in German (C1) and proficient in English (B2+).
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in consulting, digital transformation, banking, insurance or other regulated industries.
• Experience in project‑based or delivery‑oriented roles such as Business Analyst, agile transformation, or consulting management.

Required skills

• Strong analytical and problem‑structuring abilities.
• Excellent client‑facing communication in German and English.
• Ability to work in international, cross‑functional teams.
