Senior Audit Data Analyst – Hybrid

About the role

As a Senior Audit Data Analyst in Group Internal Audit (GIA) at Swiss Re, you will combine advanced analytics expertise with agile ways of working to support risk‑based auditing. You will partner with auditors to uncover insights, strengthen controls, and enable better business decisions across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of data‑driven audit approaches, from risk identification to control testing.
• Identify, acquire, and prepare data sets required for analytical assessments.
• Perform advanced analytics using SQL and Python, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with audit teams and auditees to discuss insights and support decision‑making.
• Coach junior analysts and auditors, sharing best practices to elevate analytics capabilities within GIA.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in data analytics or a related discipline.
• Proven ability to manage end‑to‑end analytics delivery in agile environments.
• Experience with internal audit, risk management or compliance functions is preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and attention‑to‑detail.
