Senior AI Engineer – Generative AI & Machine Learning

About the role

Join PwC’s Advanced Technology Solutions team as a Senior AI Engineer. You will lead the design, development and deployment of AI and data‑science solutions for global clients, turning complex business challenges into reliable, production‑ready systems.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and deliver scalable AI applications using Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, NLP, computer vision and data‑science techniques.
• Own technical solution design, guide implementation decisions and ensure high engineering quality.
• Collaborate directly with clients and stakeholders across Western Europe and the USA to define requirements and shape AI roadmaps.
• Drive production‑grade AI system delivery, covering model training, evaluation, deployment and monitoring.
• Mentor team members through code reviews, technical leadership and knowledge sharing.
• Leverage AI‑powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code and ChatPwC to boost productivity and code quality.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in AI, machine learning or software engineering.
• Strong Python programming skills (pandas, numpy, scikit‑learn).
• Proven track record delivering solutions with Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, NLP, ML or computer vision.
• Experience with SQL databases and production‑grade AI system deployment.
• Solid understanding of the ML lifecycle and ability to mentor junior engineers.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent English (B2+).
